The Review: Angelique Morgan XXX is the official site of a blonde, French porn star. I take it from her tour that she's Parisian and has been in the United States for approximately five years. I know for a fact that she's an exotic dancer, but only because she says so and while she claims to be a porn star, she never lists any of her films or even other adult models she's worked with in the business.

I don't know, but when I visit a porn star site, I expect to see both an extensive biography and some kind of listing of their magazines, radio and TV appearances, websites they appear on, and particularly I expect their DVD titles to be ready and available for me to purchase. When I arrive inside AngeliqueMorganXXX.net, I don't find any such things. In fact, I even wondered if she was a porn star at all and went searching through the Internet to find out more about her, since nothing much exists on her site. Unfortunately, I didn't turn up much information - information which could easily exist on her "official" site if anyone cared to make an effort. I discovered on IMDB that she did a Howard Stern show, and inside the site I did happen to find a snapshot of Angelique with Stern, so I retained a bit of hope for this "star". After all, if no one wants to interview you, then you can't be much of a celebrity.

Little effort seems to be made on this site. The design is probably the most amateur and shoddy designs I can think of, and it does nothing to draw me in. Furthermore, there's a whopping four picture sets and eight movies. I guess I better break out the party hat and champagne!

One photo set contains as few as 24 images and another offers 260 images. Two sets seem amateur, while the other two "seem" more inline with what I expect from an adult entertainer, or at least that's what I thought from the thumbnail of Angelique all glammed up in the midst of a hot waterfall location. When I entered this set, though, I discovered a series of random images and few of them matched what the preview seemed to promise in the way of photos. I think if a site is going to have a set filled by individual snapshots and glam images, then perhaps the title should be better reflective and perhaps the title should even spelled correctly. I mean, I'm no English teacher, but surely "Origial photos" could have been spell-checked.

A set called "Threesome" was much more to my liking, although smaller thumbnails which are all the same size might make the galleries quicker to load and certainly more visually appealing. These photos were huge 2304x3072 .jpegs and, in fact, triple the size of the other set; so much for consistency. Yet still, despite their size, they remained blurrier than the smaller sizes I came across. I don't enjoy video captures at the best of times, but high-quality video grabs? Blah!

I appreciated that the films were offered as both 5000Kbps 320x240 .mov and 1000Kbps 320x240.wmv downloads. Movies ranged from 8 to 18 minutes. Smaller clips, especially for the Quicktime films, would probably appeal to those with average speed broadband connections, although I didn't have any difficulty with the speed of the downloads myself. However, downloading is best accomplished through an Internet Explorer browser, since I was unable to view the movies through FireFox. Aside from quality, I loved the performer and her ability to get down and dirty with both men and women. Still, the films had that amateur thing going on, which just didn't shout "star".
 
Conclusion: When I think of Paris, I think of Couture, and what I mean is high-quality food, fashion, wine, sophistication and adventure. I love all things French, especially the babes. My thoughts about porn stars aren't that much different, and an official adult celebrity site should give an impression that it's a cut above the rest. However, as a site, Angelique Morgan XXX doesn't look that much different from any other amateur web model site. Okay, I lie: this particular site is much worse. It's really a shame, because the quality is certainly the best I've ever seen, but without amount, class, organization and personal extras, even a voracious femme fatale like Angelique Morgan can't make up for all the disadvantages of being a member.
